LEADING. CHANGE. NOW.
We are pursuing the goal of locally CO2-neutral transport, based on battery-electric and hydrogen-powered drives. At the IAA Transportation 2024 in Hanover, we present our continuously expanding portfolio for the emission-free transportation of the future.
Our highlight at this year’s trade fair is the battery-electric long-distance truck Mercedes-Benz eActros 600. Series production will start in November 2024. With a range of 500 kilometers, our eActros 600 addresses the long-haul segment, which accounts for two thirds of all CO2 emissions from heavy road freight in Europe and therefore is key for fighting climate change. At the same time, we not only offer zero-emission vehicles to our customers but comprehensive solutions, and we further strengthen this approach with our new service brand TruckCharge that we are now launching in Europe.
In addition, we showcase our Mercedes-Benz eCitaro K which completes our all-electric city bus portfolio. And we have our FUSO eCanter on display, a true pioneer of sustainable transportation that is in series production since 2017 and now is available in 42 markets and in more than 100 variants.
Regarding hydrogen-powered drives, we present our Mercedes-Benz GenH2 Truck that has demonstrated its range of more than 1,000 kilometers with the #HydrogenRecordRun and started initial customer trials.
At Daimler Truck we are therefore proud to report: We deliver. Our zero-emission vehicles are ready.
Our motto of this year’s IAA therefore is: LEADING. CHANGE. NOW.
Next to decarbonization we also keep driving the digitalization of our industry. With our vision “Future of Trucking” we show the potential of software-defined commercial vehicles.
