At our Daimler Truck Media Night, Karin Rådström and Achim Puchert share how we are continuing to move our company forward, 130 years after the invention of the truck. Together, they provide insights into our strategy, new products and technologies, and the progress we are making in digitalization, autonomous driving, and CO₂-free transport. They also discuss the framework conditions Europe needs to successfully drive the transformation of road freight transport.

Karin Rådström

President & CEO of Daimler Truck Holding AG

Karin Rådström has been the CEO of Daimler Truck since October 2024. Her ambition is to build the best truck and bus company in the world – for customers, employees and shareholders.

Before becoming Group CEO, Karin Rådström was CEO of Mercedes-Benz Trucks from 2021 to 2024. In this role, she made customer centricity a priority across the organization, and she significantly strengthened the profitability of the business.

Prior to joining Daimler Truck, she held several leadership roles at Scania, where she began her career as a trainee in 2004.

Karin Rådström was born on February 22, 1979, in Södertälje, Sweden. She has lived in six different countries on three continents and holds a Master of Engineering in Industrial Management from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.

Achim Puchert

Member of the Board of Management of Daimler Truck Holding AG, responsible for Mercedes-Benz Trucks and BharatBenz

Achim Puchert has been a member of the Board of Management of Daimler Truck Holding AG since December 1, 2024. In this function, he is responsible for the brands Mercedes-Benz Trucks and BharatBenz.

In his previous role, Achim served as CEO and President of Mercedes Benz do Brasil. Before that, he held various international leadership positions within the company.

Achim was born in 1979 in Celle, Germany. He studied in Germany, Denmark and Sweden and holds Master's degrees in International Management and Economics and Administration for International Business. In 2002, he joined the then DaimlerChrysler AG.

Andrew Johnson

Global Head of Communications & Government Affairs

Andrew “Andy” is the Global Head of Communications and Government Affairs since January 1, 2026. From 2021-2026, he was the Head of Corporate Communications at Daimler Truck North America (DTNA). Andy started working for Daimler Truck North America at the Portland truck manufacturing plant in 1991 during his university studies. After graduation in Business Administration (Advertising and Marketing), he joined the company in the warranty department before becoming a marketing specialist. Since then, he held a variety of leadership roles as Communications and Brand Manager at Freightliner and Western Star.

The live stream jerks or stops!
